Quick guide from the manual

This document provides installation and operational instructions for the Sanela 19B Urinal Golem with a 6V radar flushing unit. It covers technical requirements, parameter adjustments, and maintenance procedures.

Installation

Before installation, ensure you have read the safety instructions. The installation requires a water supply (G 1/2") and a waste pipeline (Ø 50 mm). Ensure the wall is prepared according to the technical drawing provided in the manual. Use the included mounting hardware to secure the unit.

  • Ensure the water pressure is between 0.1 - 0.6 MPa.
  • The sieve dimension must be ≤ 90 µm.
  • Follow the numbered steps 1-13 in the manual for physical assembly and connection.
  • The electronics activate 15 minutes after battery insertion, followed by a 1-minute automatic adjustment.

Operation and Eco Modes

The urinal features two eco-modes to optimize water consumption based on usage frequency:

  • Eco Mode 1 (Break Mode): Suitable for schools or stadiums. If no usage is detected within the set time (default 300s), the system flushes automatically.
  • Eco Mode 2 (Office Mode): Suitable for irregular usage. Alternates between "small" flushes (1s) to rinse and "large" flushes (3s) to clean the trap.

Parameter Settings

Parameters such as flushing time, activation time, and hygienic flush intervals can be adjusted using the SANELA Control application or the SLD 04 remote control. The hygienic flush interval can be set to OFF, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, or 168 hours.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is recommended. Check the battery status periodically; the system provides audible indications for battery capacity. Replace batteries when necessary. Use recommended accessories like deodorising urinal screens (SLA 11 series) to maintain hygiene.
