This document provides installation and operational instructions for the Sanela SLU 25K wall-mounted thermostatic mixer. The unit requires a constant 24V DC power supply for proper operation. Key maintenance includes an annual check of the electromagnetic valve filter and tightening of electrical connections.
Installation
The mixer is designed for wall mounting with a water inlet spacing of 100mm. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa. The sieve dimension in the valve must be ≤ 90 µm. Connect the unit to a 24V DC power source. Important: Do not connect the power supply behind a light switch; the unit must remain under constant voltage to function correctly.
Operation and Settings
The mixer features an infrared sensor for automatic water flow. The sensor range is adjustable (factory setting 12 cm). The automatic stop function is set to 310 seconds by default. Advanced settings, such as hygienic flush intervals and durations, can be adjusted using the optional SLD 03 remote control.
Maintenance
To ensure long-term reliability, perform the following maintenance at least once a year:
- Inspect and clean the electromagnetic valve filter to prevent clogging from water impurities.
- Check and tighten all screw connections.
- Inspect the contact surfaces of electrical connectors.

Practical help
Common problems
Water flow stops automatically after 5 minutes
This is a standard safety feature. If the sensor is continuously triggered, the unit will stop flow after 5 minutes.
Unit does not function or behaves erratically
Ensure the unit is connected to a constant 24V DC power supply and not wired through a light switch.
Reduced water flow or valve blockage
The electromagnetic valve filter may be clogged with impurities. Clean the filter at least once a year.
Before use
- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure the power supply is 24V DC.
- Confirm the power supply is not connected to a switched circuit.
- Check that the water inlet spacing is 100mm.
- Ensure the sieve dimension is ≤ 90 µm.
