Quick guide from the manual

This document provides installation and configuration instructions for the Sanela SLP 03K, SLP 03KV, and SLP 03KX electronic urinal flush valves. The system operates on 24 V DC and requires constant voltage. Key features include adjustable flushing parameters, hygienic flush intervals, and two specialized eco-modes for water saving.

Installation

The installation process involves mounting the frame, connecting the water supply, and wiring the electronics. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa and the sieve dimension is ≤ 90 µm. The unit must be connected to a constant 24 V DC power supply; do not connect it behind a light switch.

Parameter settings

Parameters can be adjusted using the SANELA Control application or the SLD 03 remote control. Adjustable settings include:

  • Detection range: 0.3 - 0.7 m
  • Flush duration: 0.5 - 15.5 s
  • Hygienic flush interval: OFF / 6 / 8 / 12 / 24 / 48 / 72 / 168 h

Eco modes

The system supports two eco-modes for optimized water usage:

Eco Mode 1 operation logic
Eco Mode 1 operation logic
  • Eco Mode 1 (Break Mode): Ideal for schools or stadiums. If the urinal is used again within a set time (e.g., 300s), it does not flush. It flushes automatically after the set time expires if use was detected.
  • Eco Mode 2 (Office Mode): Suitable for irregular use. Alternates between short rinses (1s) and long flushes (3s) to clean the siphon based on a set usage count (factory setting: 10 uses).

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is recommended. Ensure the sieve is clean and the power supply remains stable. For technical support or service, visit www.sanela.eu/service.

Common problems

System does not flush or flushes unexpectedly

Check if the unit is under constant 24 V DC voltage and not connected to a switched light circuit.

Water pressure issues

Ensure water pressure is within the 0.1 - 0.6 MPa range and the sieve is clean (≤ 90 µm).

Before use

  • Verify 24 V DC power supply is constant.
  • Ensure water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
  • Check that the sieve is installed and clean (≤ 90 µm).
  • Familiarize yourself with the Safety Instructions provided separately.
  • Download the SANELA Control app for configuration.
