Important Information

The Scangrip Nova 2 Connect is a high-efficiency COB LED work light designed for professional use. It features a flexible battery system compatible with Metabo CAS batteries and various 18V battery packs from other major brands via the Scangrip Connect system. The device also includes a built-in USB power bank for charging mobile devices.

Operation

The lamp is controlled via three buttons located on the back panel:

Control panel buttons A, B, and C
Control panel buttons A, B, and C
  • Button A: Turns the lamp on or off.
  • Button B: Increases the brightness level.
  • Button C: Decreases the brightness level.

The lamp features a memory function; when the brightness level is adjusted, the new value is saved, and the lamp will start at that level the next time it is turned on.

Battery Compatibility

The work light is designed to be used with the Metabo CAS battery system (12V and 18V). It is also compatible with 18V batteries from other manufacturers (such as Bosch, Dewalt, Einhell, Fein, Festool, Flex, Hazet, Hikoki, Ingersoll, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Snap-on, and Würth) by using the appropriate Scangrip Connector. A Scangrip power supply can also be used instead of a battery.

USB Power Bank

The lamp includes a built-in USB power outlet to charge mobile devices. The output is 5V, 1A.

Safety Warnings

  • Always respect applicable legislation for working with electrical equipment to reduce the risk of accidents.
  • Avoid looking directly into the beam of light to prevent dazzling.
  • Do not use the lamp near a naked flame.
  • The light source is not replaceable; the whole luminaire must be replaced when the light source reaches its end of life.
