The Scangrip Tower 5 Connect is a professional work light designed for versatility. Product overview
The Tower 5 Connect features 120 LEDs providing 2500 or 5000 lumens depending on the selected step. It is rated IP30 (protection against solid objects over 2.5mm) and IK07 (mechanical impact protection). The unit is designed to be foldable for easy storage and transport.
Battery and power supply compatibility
The work light is designed for flexibility in power sources:
- Metabo CAS: Compatible directly with 18V Metabo CAS batteries.
- Other 18V Batteries: Compatible with 18V battery packs from major brands (Bosch, DeWalt, Einhell, Fein, Festool, Flex, Hazet, Hikoki, Ingersoll, Makita, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Snap-On, Würth) by using the specific SCANGRIP CONNECTOR for that brand.
- Power Supply: It is possible to use a Scangrip Power Supply (sold separately) instead of a battery.
Note: Batteries, chargers, connectors, and power supplies are sold separately.
Safety warnings
- Always respect applicable legislation for working with electrical equipment to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Avoid looking directly into the beam of light, as this will result in dazzling.
- Do not use the lamp near a naked flame.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire must be replaced.
Storage and folding
The light features a quick-closing mechanism for storage:
- Press the leg down lightly.
- Lift it up gently.
- Push the pin in the indicated direction.
- Fold up the leg to the main body.
Disposal
Discarded electrical products must not be disposed of together with household waste. Please use recycling facilities. Ask your local authority or retailer for advice on recycling.

Common problems
Light does not turn on
Ensure the battery is charged and properly connected. If using a 3rd party battery, verify that the correct Scangrip Connector is installed.
Light source failure
The light source is not replaceable. If it reaches the end of its life, the entire unit must be replaced.
Before use
- Verify you have a compatible 18V battery (Metabo CAS or other with Scangrip Connector) or the Scangrip Power Supply.
- Ensure the work light is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Check that the environment is free from naked flames.
- Inspect the unit for any physical damage before operation.
