The Scangrip VEGA 2 CONNECT is a versatile work light designed for professional use. It features a flexible power system allowing the use of either a power supply or various 18V/20V battery packs. Please note that the battery, charger, power supply, and specific battery connectors are sold separately.
Product Overview
The VEGA 2 CONNECT is a high-performance LED work light. It is compatible with the Metabo CAS battery system and can be adapted to other major 18V/20V battery brands using the SCANGRIP CONNECT system.
Battery Compatibility and Power
The lamp is designed to be used with 18V Metabo CAS batteries. It is also compatible with 18V/20V batteries from other manufacturers (such as Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, etc.) by using the appropriate SCANGRIP CONNECT adapter. Alternatively, a dedicated Scangrip power supply can be used instead of a battery.
IP Ratings
The lamp has two different IP (Ingress Protection) ratings depending on the power source used:
- IP54: When used with a Scangrip power supply.
- IP30: When used with a CAS battery.
Safety Instructions
- Always respect applicable legislation for working with electrical equipment to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Avoid looking directly into the beam of light to prevent dazzling.
- Do not use the lamp near a naked flame.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire must be replaced.

Various accessories are available for the VEGA 2 CONNECT, including:
- SCANGRIP CONNECTors: Specific adapters for different battery brands (e.g., Berner, Bosch, DeWalt, Einhell, Fein, Festool, Flex, Hazet, Hikoki, Ingersoll, Makita, Milwaukee, Panasonic, Ridgid, Snap-on, Würth).
- Power Supply: Model 03.6123C.
- CAS Battery: 18V 5.2 Ah (Model 03.6121).
