The Scangrip Vega 4 Connect is a versatile work light designed for professional use. It offers two brightness levels (2000/4000 lm) and is compatible with various power sources, including the Metabo CAS 18V battery system and other 18V batteries via the Scangrip Connector system. Please note that batteries, chargers, connectors, and the power supply are sold separately.
Power and Battery Compatibility
The Vega 4 Connect is highly flexible regarding power sources:
- Metabo CAS Batteries: Designed for use with 18V Metabo CAS batteries.
- 3rd Party Batteries: Compatible with 18V batteries from other manufacturers (Bosch, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee, etc.) by using the specific Scangrip Connector for that brand.
- Power Supply: You can use a Scangrip Power Supply instead of a battery for continuous operation.
IP Ratings and Usage
The protection level of the lamp changes depending on the power source used:
- IP54: Achieved when using the Scangrip Power Supply. This provides protection against dust and splashing water.
- IP30: Achieved when using a CAS Battery. This provides protection against solid objects larger than 2.5mm but offers no water protection.
Safety Instructions
- Always respect applicable legislation for working with electrical equipment to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Avoid looking directly into the beam of light to prevent dazzling.
- Do not use the lamp near a naked flame.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire must be replaced.

Light does not turn on
Ensure the battery is charged or the power supply is correctly connected. If using a 3rd party battery, verify the correct Scangrip Connector is installed.
Unsure about IP rating
The IP rating depends on the power source. Use the Scangrip Power Supply for IP54 (splash-proof) or a CAS battery for IP30 (indoor use only).
