Operation

Lift Latch Drawers

Lift Latch mechanism
Lift Latch mechanism
  • To open: Lift the drawer front while pulling it out.
  • To close: Shut the drawer firmly until the latch engages.
  • Troubleshooting: If the drawer does not latch, the hook may be misaligned. Bend the hook gently until it is parallel to the drawer edge.

Removing and Replacing Drawers

  1. To remove: Pull the drawer out almost fully. Locate the black locking levers. Lift one lever up and push the other lever down. Hold both in this position to pull the drawer out.
  2. To replace: Extend the runners from the cabinet. Engage the slides on either side of the drawer into the runners. Push the drawer closed squarely until it engages the locking levers.

Maintenance

  • Lubrication: Lubricate drawer slides sparingly every six months.
  • Cleaning: Clean metalwork periodically with warm water and a mild detergent.
  • Finish: Car wax may be used to restore shine. Stubborn grease can be removed with a non-abrasive cleaner.

Ensure you are lifting one locking lever up and pushing the other down simultaneously while pulling the drawer out.

Before use

  • Ensure two people are available for assembly due to the weight of the cabinets.
  • Prepare a soft mat on the floor to protect the cabinet finish during castor installation.
  • Verify the work area is clean, uncluttered, and well-lit.
