The Solight 1L81 is a wireless doorbell system consisting of a transmitter (button) and a receiver (doorbell). It features a 180m range in open space, 36 selectable melodies, and 4 volume levels. The system uses a learning code function for pairing, allowing for expansion with multiple buttons or receivers.
Device description
The receiver features an LED indicator, night light, melody selection/pairing button, light sensor, mode button, and volume control. The transmitter is weather-resistant (IP44) and powered by a CR2032 battery.
Pairing and setup
To pair the button with the doorbell:
- Plug the doorbell into a 230V electrical socket.
- Wait for the "Ding Dong" melody; the device will enter pairing mode.
- Press the button on the transmitter within 120 seconds. A "Ding Dong" melody confirms successful pairing.
To delete paired buttons, press and hold the melody selection/pairing button (button 3) for approximately 20 seconds until you hear a "Ding Dong" sound.
Settings
Use the buttons on the receiver to customize your doorbell:
- Melody selection: Press button 3 to cycle through melodies.
- Volume control: Press button 6 to select the desired volume level.
- Ring mode: Press button 5 to toggle between flashing, sound, or flashing + ringing.
- Night light: The device features a light sensor that turns on the night light automatically at dusk. You can turn this function off by pressing button 2.
Installation
Before permanent installation, test the range and reliability of the device in the chosen location. Avoid placing the button on metal objects or materials containing metal (e.g., steel posts, metal frames), as this may interfere with the signal. Attach the installation pad to the surface using double-sided adhesive tape or screws.
Maintenance
To replace the transmitter battery:

- Insert a new CR2032 battery.
- Replace the cover.
