This document provides essential information for the installation and operation of the Steinbach Silent Mini heat pump. The device is designed exclusively for heating or cooling water in private swimming pools. It must be operated outdoors and requires a sufficient water flow from your filter system.

Installation
Ensure the heat pump is placed on a stable, level, and waterproof surface with at least 2 meters of distance from the pool. Maintain the required minimum distances from walls or objects as specified in the manual. Connect the water pipes using the provided adapters and hose clamps. Ensure the power supply is protected by a residual current device (RCD) with a maximum of 30 mA.

Operation
The heat pump features three modes: Heating, Cooling, and Defrost. Use the control panel to switch between modes and set the desired water temperature (between +10°C and +45°C). The device includes a key lock that activates automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity; deactivate it by holding the Up and Down buttons for 3 seconds.
App Pairing
To control the heat pump via smartphone, download the Steinbach Silent Series app. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. Follow the pairing instructions in the app to connect the device.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Regularly clean the grille and heat exchanger fins to prevent debris buildup. If the error code E 03 appears, the water flow is too low; check your filter pump or adjust the bypass valve. For other errors, consult the troubleshooting table in the manual or contact the Steinbach support team.

Wait three minutes for the startup delay to pass, or ensure the water temperature is not already at the set target.
Wait for the automatic defrost function to activate.
If it is condensation, it is normal. If it is pool water, check all connections and adapters for tightness.
