Quick Guide to Product Care

This guide provides essential cleaning and maintenance instructions for various Stonebaths products. To ensure the longevity of your fixtures, always wipe up spills immediately, clean bath water residue after each use, and avoid harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or toilet cleaners unless specifically permitted.

Polymarble and Solid Surface

Everyday Cleaning: Clean with Jif/Ajax or warm soapy water and a cloth. Ensure all bath water residue is removed after each use.

Stains and Scuffs: Wipe spills immediately. Avoid fake tan, hair dyes, and coloured shampoos. For scuffs or small marks, use 4000 grit sandpaper in a circular motion.

Repairing Damage: Clean and dry the surface. Use 4000 grit wet/dry sandpaper to polish or buff out marks or chips. For coloured baths, follow with a polishing wax (car wax).

Copper Bath Tubs

Everyday Cleaning: Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth after each use to prevent water spots. Use mild dish soap for a thorough clean. Apply natural beeswax polish once or twice a month to maintain the finish.

Natural Aging: Copper naturally develops a patina (living finish). To prevent this, keep the surface dry and apply wax monthly.

Repairing Damage: Apply a small amount of high-quality copper polish with a soft microfiber cloth, rubbing in a circular motion until the scratch diminishes.

Acrylic Baths

Everyday Cleaning: Clean with warm soapy water or a bathroom cleaner safe for acrylic finishes.

Stains and Scratches: For light stains, mix baking soda with water into a paste and rub gently with a soft cloth. Never use steel wool or abrasive pads. Restore shine with a polish made for acrylic surfaces.
