The THUNDERSTORM FLANGER is a vintage-style flanger pedal featuring an all-analog bucket-brigade circuit. This guide provides essential information for connecting the pedal to your guitar rig, adjusting the effect parameters, and performing battery maintenance.
Controls
- Input/Output jacks: Connect your guitar to the INPUT jack and your amplifier to the OUTPUT jack using 1/4 inch cables.
- 9 V DC: Connect an optional 9 V power supply (center negative, >100 mA).
- Footswitch: Toggles the effect on and off. The LED indicates when the effect is engaged. The pedal features true bypass when disengaged.
- Rate: Adjusts the speed of the flanger effect.
- Depth: Adjusts the intensity of the effect.
- Manual: Emphasizes higher frequencies as the knob is turned clockwise.
- Feedback: Controls the amount of signal fed back through the effect, intensifying the filtering and resonance.
Battery Replacement
To replace the battery, open the pedal housing to access the internal 9 V battery connector. Ensure the battery is installed with the correct polarity (+ and -). Always remove the battery if it is exhausted or if the product will not be used for an extended period.

Common problems
Effect not working
Check that the 9 V power supply is connected or that the internal battery is fresh and properly installed. Ensure the footswitch is engaged (LED should be lit).
No sound output
Verify that both the input and output cables are securely connected to the guitar and amplifier respectively.
