The Tripp Lite PDUNV is a versatile, no-frills Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed for data centers, server rooms, and network closets. It features a switchless design to prevent accidental shutdowns and includes a 16A circuit breaker for overload protection. The unit supports multiple mounting configurations, including 1U horizontal, 0U vertical, wall, and under-counter mounting.
Product Overview
The PDUNV provides single-phase AC power distribution. It is compatible with a wide range of voltages (120-240V) and includes a 10-foot (3.05 m) cord with a C20 input. The unit is constructed with an all-metal housing for durability.
Installation Options
The PDU is designed for flexible installation:
- 1U Horizontal: Fits standard EIA 19-inch racks.
- 0U Vertical: Can be mounted vertically in racks.
- Wall/Workbench/Under-counter: Can be mounted using user-supplied hardware.
- Toolless 0U: Supports toolless vertical mounting with the optional PDUSIDEBRKT (sold separately).

The unit features a switchless design specifically to prevent accidental power-offs. Ensure your power source is stable.
Circuit breaker tripping
The unit has a 16A circuit breaker. If it trips, reduce the total load connected to the PDU to ensure it does not exceed 16A.
Before use
- Verify your facility's power source voltage (120-240V).
- Ensure the total load of connected equipment does not exceed 16A.
- Select the correct plug adapter from the 5 included options for your specific outlet type.
- Install locking retainer clips on the adapters to prevent accidental disconnection.
- Determine the mounting location (1U rack, 0U vertical, wall, or under-counter) and prepare necessary hardware.
