Important Information

This device is designed exclusively for UGREEN NAS devices. It is not compatible with third-party NAS devices. The device comes with a built-in lithium-ion battery. To ensure optimal performance, charge the device within 3 months of purchase. The device is set to power-saving mode by default; connect it to a power source to exit this mode before first use.

Connection Instructions

  1. Power Off: Turn off your NAS and unplug its power adapter from the wall outlet.
  2. Connect to Power: Connect the UPS to a wall outlet using the power adapter originally provided with your NAS.
  3. Connect NAS: Connect your NAS to the UPS using the appropriate power cable.

Note: Ensure all data transfer operations are stopped before powering off the NAS to prevent data corruption.

  • Power Saving Mode: Double-click the button. Note that the button will not function while in power-saving mode; connect the device to power to exit this mode.

LED Indicators and Buzzer

The device uses LED lights and buzzer sounds to communicate status:

  • NAS powered by AC: Solid white light (100% battery) or flashing white light (charging).
  • NAS powered by UPS (Power Outage): Solid red light (>20% battery) or flashing red light (<20% battery).
  • Low Battery Warning: If battery is <20%, the device will emit 3 beeps every second. If the battery is critically low, it will emit 1 beep every second for 60 seconds.

Maintenance and Storage

  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth or a screen cleaner designed for smartphones/computers. Do not use water.
  • Storage: Store in a dry place. If storing for a long period, fully charge the device and enable power-saving mode by double-clicking the button to extend battery life.

Safety Warnings

  • Do not disassemble, crush, or puncture the device.
  • Keep away from heat sources, high temperatures, and high humidity.
  • Do not immerse in water.
