Safety Instructions
Important: Always read the safety instructions before use. The device should only be used by children aged 8 and older under supervision. Start-up and Operation
Before first use, clean the inside of the pot thoroughly. Fill with water up to the Max line and close the lid to ensure the automatic boil-stop works correctly. Place the pot on the base and press the power switch below the handle. The control lamp indicates that the device is heating. Do not use the water from the first boiling cycle for food preparation.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the device and allow it to cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners. The stainless steel pot may show surface deposits that can be removed with a stainless steel cleanser. The strainer in the spout can be removed for cleaning by pressing its upper clip upward.
Descaling
Regularly descale the appliance using a high-quality commercial descaling agent. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully, ensuring you rinse the device thoroughly with clear water afterward. Do not use agents based purely on vinegar or citric acid, as these may damage seals.
Troubleshooting
- Pouring issues: Check and clean the strainer.
- Device switches off before boiling: The pot bottom is heavily calcified or filled with too little water.
- Device does not switch off: Ensure the lid is properly closed.
- Device will not switch on: Allow the device to cool down sufficiently after operation without or with too little water.
Disposal
At the end of its life, this product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Please take it to a designated recycling collection point for electrical and electronic appliances.
