Product Description
The Combo PON D2 Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP+) combines 10 G XGS-PON OLT and GPON OLT optical transceivers into a single-mode fiber SFP+. It is designed for extended ranges up to 37 km and is compliant with FDA 21 CFR 1040.10 and IEC 60825-1 Class I laser safety standards.
Installation Steps

- Inspect the SFP+ for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.
- Do not remove the protective dust cover until the fiber optic cable is ready to be connected.
- Insert the SFP+ into the SFP+ cage on the module.
- Slide the SFP+ all the way into the cage until you hear an audible click.
- Removal: To remove, rotate the latch away from the SFP+ and slide it out of the cage.
Safety and Regulatory
This device is sensitive to electrostatic discharge. Always wear an antistatic discharge wrist strap and work on an electrically grounded antistatic mat. The product is designed for installation in either a Common Bonding Network (CBN) or Isolated Bonding Network (IBN). If the host system has a protective earth (PE) terminal, it must be connected to ensure proper grounding of the optical module.
