Quick Guide

The Arzum Ehlikeyf Samovar is designed for boiling water and brewing tea. It features an automatic switch between boiling and keep-warm modes to save energy.

• Red Light: Indicates the boiling process is active.
• Blue Light: Indicates the appliance is in keep-warm mode.
• Operation: Fill the kettle with water, place the teapot with tea on top, and press the on/off button.

Safety Warnings

• Ensure the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds with your local voltage.
• The appliance is intended for household and similar applications.
• Keep the appliance and cable out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
• Do not operate the appliance without water.
• Never immerse the kettle in water or other liquids.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent.

First Use

1. Rinse the kettle with cold water several times.
2. Fill to the MAX water level and boil until the appliance turns off automatically.
3. Discard the boiled water and rinse with cold water.
4. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
5. Wash the upper teapot and tea filter with warm soapy water.

Using Your Samovar

Tea Preparation:

• Fill the kettle with water between the tap level and the maximum level mark.
• Open the teapot lid, remove the tea filter, add tea, and add some cold water.
• Place the teapot on the intermediate lid.
• Press the on/off button. The light will turn red.
• When boiling is complete, the appliance will beep 5 times and switch to keep-warm mode (blue light).

Water Heating:

• You can use the appliance solely for boiling water by placing an empty teapot on the top lid.
• The appliance will automatically switch to keep-warm mode after boiling.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Always turn the appliance off, unplug it, and let it cool completely before cleaning.
• The teapot and tea filter can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a dry or moist cloth.
• Never immerse the kettle in water or wash it in a dishwasher.
• Do not use harsh or chemical cleaners.

Calcification Removal

Periodically remove lime buildup to maintain efficiency:

• Using Lime Remover: Boil water, add the lime remover, wait a few minutes, boil for another 2-3 minutes, then empty and rinse 2-3 times with fresh water.
• Using Vinegar: Fill with half a liter of white vinegar, wait for 1 hour, empty, and rinse 2-3 times with fresh water.
