This guide provides essential instructions for the Avantco 177ELECKNIFE electric knife. Before using the appliance, ensure it is fully charged, clean, and unplugged. Always select the correct blade for the food you are cutting and use a wood or plastic cutting board.
Safety Warnings
- Do not submerge the knife or handle in water or any liquid. If the unit falls into liquid, do not touch it and unplug the cord immediately.

Assembly and Charging
Before first use, clean the blades and handle. To charge the unit, insert the charging plug (G) into the port on the bottom of the handle (C) and connect the other end to an appropriate outlet. A 90-minute charge provides approximately 70 minutes of runtime.

To assemble the blades:
- Hold the release buttons (D).
- Insert the correct blade (A for Meat, B for Bread) with the sharp side pointing towards the trigger (F).
- Use the safety grips (H) to avoid injury.
To remove or change blades, grip the safety grips (H) and press the release buttons (D).
Operation
- Ensure the knife is fully charged, clean, and unplugged.
- Select the correct blade for the product you are cutting.
- With a firm grip on the handle, use your thumb to push the safety switch (E) forward.
- Squeeze the trigger (F) to engage the blades.
- Apply slow, even pressure to the product. Allow the knife to do the cutting; do not apply aggressive pressure.
- When finished, release the trigger (F) and the safety switch (E).
Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the blades immediately after use. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
- Squeeze the side buttons and pull the blades simultaneously to remove them.
- Wash blades with hot water and soap, then rinse with clean water.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the handle. Do not place the handle under running water or submerge it in liquid.
- Dry the blades and handle thoroughly.
- Store in a clean, dry space away from humidity.
