The AVSL 128.863UK is an 8K HDMI splitter designed to distribute a single HDMI source signal to up to eight displays simultaneously. To ensure optimal performance, always use 8K certified HDMI cables and ensure the total combined cable length does not exceed 10 meters for 8K@60Hz signals.

Connection Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your splitter:

• Connect your HDMI source device (e.g., laptop, set-top box, games console, or Blu-ray player) to the input port of the splitter using an HDMI lead.
• Connect your display devices to the output ports (1-8) using HDMI leads.
• Connect the supplied 5V power adapter to the splitter and plug it into a mains outlet.
• Switch on the power. The blue LEDs on the front of the unit will illuminate when the source and display devices are connected and powered on.

Note: For 8K resolution, ensure you are using 8K certified HDMI cables. The maximum combined cable length for 8K@60Hz is 10 meters (5m maximum for input and 5m maximum for output).

EDID Dip Switch Settings

The splitter features dip switches on the back to configure EDID settings. Use the following table to set the switches for your required resolution and audio output:

• 0 = switch up
• 1 = switch down
• Switch 1 is for upgrade mode only.

Settings include options for copying output 1 EDID, downward compatibility, 4K/60Hz 2ch, 1080p 3D 2ch, 8K/60Hz 7.1ch, 4K/30Hz 2ch, 1080p 2D 2ch, and 1080p 2D 7.1ch.
