The Banda Audioparts ELECTRA 10K is a high-performance amplifier designed for automotive audio systems. Before installation, ensure the amplifier is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Always use an external fuse (recommended 600A) to protect the electrical system. The device requires a stable power supply between 9V and 15V. If the amplifier enters protection mode, check the LED indicators on the front panel to diagnose the issue.
Device description and connections

Power supply unit
The power supply terminals are located on the unit and include:
- GND: Connect to the vehicle chassis (Ground).
- 12VDC INPUT (+): Connect to the positive terminal of the battery.
- REM: Connect to the remote antenna/head unit signal to turn the amplifier on.
Front panel LEDs
The LEDs provide real-time status updates:
- Blue (ON): Indicates the amplifier is powered on.
- Red (SHORT): Indicates output distortion (clipping), short circuit, or thermal protection.
- Yellow (flashing): Indicates low battery voltage (below 9V).
Wiring examples
The amplifier supports various configurations depending on the impedance of your woofers or subwoofers. The manual provides diagrams for connecting 4 woofers or 2 woofers in parallel to achieve the desired impedance (1 ohm or 2 ohms) while maintaining the 10000Wrms output.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the LED status:
- Blue & Red LED On: Temperature limit reached. Ensure proper ventilation.
- Blue LED on, Red flashing (no audio): Short circuit in output or impedance too low. Check speaker cables and impedance.
- Blue LED on, Red flashing (with music): Clipping distortion over 5%.
- Flashing Yellow LED: Input voltage below 9V. Check battery charge and power cable connections.
- Red & Yellow LED On: Internal problem. Contact an authorized service center.

Practical help
Common problems
Amplifier temperature has reached the operating limit. Install in a well-ventilated place and ensure ventilation is not obstructed.
Short circuit in audio output or impedance below rated limit. Check speaker cables and ensure impedance is not lower than the amplifier's minimum.
Input voltage below 9V. Check battery charge and ensure there is no voltage drop in power cables or connections.
Problem with the amplifier. Please refer to the nearest authorized service center.
Before use
- Ensure the amplifier is installed in a well-ventilated area.
- Use an external fuse (recommended 600A).
- Verify that speaker impedance matches the amplifier's rated impedance.
- Use power cables of at least 70mm.
- Check that the battery is fully charged and capable of providing 9-15V.
Specs in practice
- Input Voltage
- Operating range is 9V to 15V. Voltage below 9V triggers low voltage protection.
- Recommended Fuse
- A 600A fuse is required for safe operation.
- Frequency Response
- The amplifier operates between 20Hz and 500Hz.
- Input Impedance
- 100K Ohms, standard for audio signal input.
Images and diagrams
- Wiring diagrams illustrate parallel connections for 1 ohm and 2 ohm loads using 2 or 4 woofers.
- The front panel diagram identifies the location of the power terminals and LED indicators.
Model compatibility
- Compatible with 1 ohm or 2 ohm speaker configurations depending on the specific model version.
- Requires high-current power supply capable of handling up to 1000A (sinusoidal signal).
