Product description
This luminaire is constructed from die-cast aluminium and stainless steel with BEGA Unidure coating. It features an impact-resistant synthetic diffuser (BEGA NeoGlass) and is designed for outdoor use with dust-tight and water-jet protection.
Installation
Preparation: Ensure the power is disconnected. The installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations.
- Undo the screws to remove the luminaire top and the diffuser.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
- Important: Observe the "arrow down" position on the luminaire back plate.
- Fix the luminaire base to the mounting surface using the provided or suitable fixing material. Ensure the supplied gasket rings are used.
- Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
- Remove the desiccant pouch from its foil packaging and place it in the position marked by the red information label inside the luminaire.
- Reattach the diffuser with the gasket and the luminaire top. Tighten the screws evenly.
Maintenance and cleaning
Clean the luminaire regularly with a soft, lint-free, damp cloth. Use water with a little dishwashing detergent if necessary. Do not use high-pressure cleaners or cleaning agents containing solvents. For lacquered surfaces, BEGA Lacquer Care Set 71 179 is recommended.
Replacing the LED module
The LED module can be replaced by a qualified person using standard tools. Disconnect the system from the power supply before opening the luminaire. Ensure the replacement module matches the original specifications. Check and replace gaskets if necessary.
