The BEGA 24901K3 is a recessed ceiling luminaire designed for indoor and outdoor use. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations. The luminaire must not be installed in heat-insulating material.
Installation
The installation requires a recessed opening of 160mm diameter and a minimum depth of 120mm. Ensure the ceiling has sufficient load-bearing capability.

- Preparation: Ensure the ceiling opening is 160mm. If installing in plasterboard, reinforce the back of the ceiling cladding in the area of the claws.
- Wiring: Connect the cable to a suitable connection box (not included). Connect the mains supply to the black (L), blue (N), and green-yellow (earth) leads. Ensure proper strain relief.
- Mounting: Insert the luminaire housing into the opening. Use the two adjustable fixing claws. Tighten the Torx T15 screws evenly by hand. Do not use an electric screwdriver.
- Removal: To remove, loosen the guide screws to retract the fixing claws.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the luminaire regularly using solvent-free cleaners. Do not use high-pressure cleaners. Important: Do not remove the desiccant bag located inside the luminaire housing, as it is required to absorb residual moisture.
