The BEGA 24 502 is a wall luminaire designed for directed light. Installation and commissioning must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national safety regulations.
- Important: Always install the included desiccant pouch inside the luminaire before closing it to ensure maximum service life.
- Orientation: Ensure the luminaire is mounted with the "arrow down" marking.
- Control: The luminaire is DALI-controllable. If the DALI terminal is not used, the luminaire operates at full light output.
Installation
- Undo the screws and lift off the luminaire top.
- Lead the mains supply cable through the cable entry of the luminaire base.
- Fix the luminaire base onto the mounting surface using suitable material. Ensure the gasket rings are used.
- Make the earth conductor connection and the electrical connection.
- For digital control, use the connecting terminal DA, DA.
- Place the desiccant pouch (removed from foil packaging) in the position marked by the red information label.
- Install the luminaire top, ensure the gasket is positioned correctly, and manually tighten screws evenly.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the luminaire regularly with solvent-free cleansers to remove dirt and deposits. Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
Replacing the LED Module
The LED module can be replaced by qualified persons using standard tools. Disconnect the system from power before opening. Ensure the replacement module matches the original specifications. Check and replace gaskets if necessary.
