The boAt Aavante Bar 1200N is a 2.1CH soundbar system with a wired subwoofer. Before use, ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface or mounted securely with at least 20cm of clearance above and 5cm on the sides for ventilation. Always check that your local voltage matches the device requirements. The system supports multiple inputs including Bluetooth, USB, AUX, Optical, and HDMI (ARC).
Product Overview
The soundbar features a front LED display and top-mounted controls for Standby/Power, Input selection, and Volume adjustment. The rear panel contains ports for Subwoofer Out, USB, AUX, Optical, HDMI (ARC), and AC Power Input.
Remote Control
The remote control provides full system management:
- Power: Standby mode for on/off.
- Pair: Press and hold for 2 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Input: Cycle through AUX, USB, HDMI(ARC), Optical, and Bluetooth modes.
- Playback Controls: Play/Pause, Previous, and Next (USB and BT modes only).

Installation
Table Placement
Place the soundbar horizontally on a solid surface, such as a TV unit or shelf, aligning it centrally with the TV screen. Ensure there is adequate airflow around the unit.
Wall Mounting
- Drill two holes in the wall matching the distance of the soundbar's wall bracket holes.
- Insert plastic anchors and secure screws, leaving a small gap.
- Attach the provided EVA pads to the wall mount bracket to ensure a minimum 15mm gap between the wall and the soundbar.
- Hang the soundbar on the screws.
Connections
HDMI (ARC) Mode
Connect the HDMI (ARC) port on the soundbar to the HDMI (ARC) port on your TV using a high-speed HDMI cable. Ensure your TV's audio output is set to PCM format.
Bluetooth Connection
Switch the soundbar to BT mode. Activate Bluetooth on your device, search for 'Aavante Bar 1200N', and pair. The unit will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when in range.
USB Mode
Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port. The soundbar should automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback.
AUX and Optical
Use the provided AUX cable or an Optical cable to connect your audio source. Select the corresponding input mode using the remote or soundbar controls.
Troubleshooting
- No Sound: Check if the correct input is selected, the unit is not muted, volume is turned up, and cables are securely connected. Ensure TV audio output is set to PCM.
- Bluetooth Issues: Ensure the device is within 10 meters, not connected to another device, and the Bluetooth function is active.
