The charger features the following components:

Charging process
The charging process begins as soon as the mains plug is inserted into the socket and the battery is placed in the charging bay (2).
- AL 2x18V-88: The charging bays charge simultaneously and independently of each other.
- Temperature: Charging is only possible if the battery temperature is within the permitted range (0–45 °C).
Wall mounting
The charger can be used free-standing or mounted on a wall. Use round-head screws with a diameter of 5 mm to max. 6.5 mm.
- AL 18V-44: Drill two holes with a clearance of 56 mm.
- AL 2x18V-88: Drill two holes with a clearance of 168 mm.
Troubleshooting
- Battery not charging, red indicator (1) flashing: The charger has detected an internal error. Ensure the battery is fully inserted. Unplug and re-plug the charger. If the error persists, have the charger checked by an authorized Bosch service center.
- No indicators light up: The socket, mains cable, or charger may be defective. Check the mains voltage.
Maintenance and cleaning
If the power supply cord needs replacement, it must be performed by Bosch or an authorized service center to avoid safety hazards.
