  • Battery: Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release buttons and pull the battery out.
  • Tool Change: Open the keyless chuck by turning it in the direction of rotation until the tool can be inserted. Insert the tool and tighten the chuck sleeve firmly by hand.

Setting the Rotational Direction

Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction of the tool. Only operate this switch when the tool is at a standstill.

  • Drilling: Set the operating mode ring to the 'Drilling' symbol for maximum torque.
  • Screwdriving: Set the operating mode ring to the 'Screwdriving' symbol and adjust the torque ring to the required setting.
  • Impact Drilling: Set the operating mode ring to the 'Impact Drilling' symbol.

Mechanical Gear Selection

Use the gear selector switch to choose between two speed ranges. Only operate when the tool is at a standstill.

  • Gear 2: High speed, low torque (for light-duty applications like drilling with small diameters).
