Safety Instructions

General Power Tool Safety: Keep your work area clean and well-lit. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres. Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.

Drill/Driver Safety: Hold the tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing operations where the fastener may contact hidden wiring. Use auxiliary handles if supplied. Switch off immediately if the tool jams to prevent kickback.

Operation

The tool is intended for driving/loosening screws and drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic.

• Battery: The battery is supplied partially charged. Charge fully before first use. The battery has NTC temperature control, allowing charging only between 0°C and 45°C.
• Tool Mounting: Ensure the tool is switched off before mounting bits.
• Rotation: Use the rotational direction switch to set the desired direction.
• Torque/Gear Selection: Adjust torque and gear settings according to the task. Always ensure the gear selector is pushed fully to the stop.

Maintenance and Cleaning

For safe and proper working, always keep the machine and ventilation slots clean. If the tool requires repair, contact an authorized Bosch service center and use only original spare parts.
