Product Description
The GSB 18V-45 is a cordless combi drill designed for driving and loosening screws, drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic, and impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone.
Assembly
Battery: Remove the battery before any maintenance or transport. Insert the charged battery into the base of the tool until it locks securely.
Tool Change: The drill spindle is locked when the on/off switch is not pressed. Open the keyless chuck by turning it, insert the tool, and tighten the chuck firmly by hand.
Operation
Rotational Direction: Use the switch to change direction. Press left for right rotation (drilling/screwdriving), press right for left rotation (loosening).
Operating Mode: Use the presetting ring to select between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling (GSB model only).
Speed and Torque: Control speed by pressing the on/off switch. Preselect torque for screwdriving using the torque ring (20 stages).
Maintenance
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Contact Bosch service for repairs.

Battery low (flashing LED 3x during operation)
Charge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.
Device protection active (flashing LED 3x after downtime)
The protection system has been activated to prevent damage from high current consumption. Wait for the tool to cool down.
