Product description

The tool features a keyless chuck, torque presetting ring, gear selector, and worklight. The GSB model includes an additional operating mode ring for impact drilling.

Assembly

Battery: Insert the charged battery into the handle until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and pull the battery out.

Tool change: Open the keyless chuck by turning it in the direction of rotation 1. Insert the tool and tighten the chuck sleeve firmly by hand in the direction of rotation 2.

Operation

Direction of rotation: Use the rotational direction switch to change the direction. Set to the middle position to prevent accidental starting.

Operating mode: Use the torque presetting ring (GSR) or operating mode ring (GSB) to select between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling (GSB only).

Speed and torque: Adjust speed by varying pressure on the on/off switch. Use the torque ring to pre-select the required torque in 20 stages. Use the gear selector to choose between low speed (high torque) and high speed (low torque).

Maintenance and service

Cleaning: Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation.

Carbon brushes: Check the length of the carbon brushes every 2-3 months and replace both if necessary. Use only original Bosch carbon brushes.
