Product Description
The machine is intended for driving in and loosening screws and bolts as well as for tightening and loosening nuts. The integrated light is for illuminating the direct area of working operation.
Assembly
Battery Charging
- Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories page.
- The battery is supplied partially charged. Charge it completely in the charger before using the tool for the first time.
- The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).
Removing the Battery
The battery is equipped with two locking levels to prevent it from falling out if the battery unlocking button is pressed unintentionally. As long as the battery is inserted in the power tool, it is held in position by a spring.
Operation


Inserting the Tool
GDR 180-LI: Pull the locking sleeve forward, push the insert tool to the stop into the tool holder, and release the locking sleeve to lock the tool.
GDX 180-LI: Slide the application tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.
Starting Operation
- Rotational Direction: Use the rotational direction switch to reverse the direction. Right rotation for driving in screws; left rotation for loosening.
- Switching On and Off: Press the On/Off switch to start the machine and keep it pressed. Release the switch to stop.
- Adjusting Speed: The speed can be variably adjusted depending on how far the On/Off switch is pressed.
Maintenance and Cleaning

- Before any work on the machine (e.g., maintenance, tool change) or during transport and storage, remove the battery.
- Regularly clean the power tool's air vents.
- Check the length of the carbon brushes every 2–3 months and replace them if required. Never replace only a single carbon brush.
