The Bosch GFA 18-H is a rotary hammer adapter designed exclusively for use with Bosch GSR 18V-60 FC and GSR 18V-90 FC cordless drill/drivers. It is intended for hammer drilling in concrete, brick, and stone.

Assembly
Fitting the adapter: Remove any existing tool from the drill. Insert the adapter into the holder (1) and turn the locking ring (9) until it audibly engages.

Inserting SDS plus tools: The SDS plus drill chuck allows for easy tool changes without additional tools. Insert the tool into the holder until it stops. Check that it is locked by pulling on the tool.
Removing tools: Pull back the locking sleeve and remove the tool.
Auxiliary handle: You can swivel the auxiliary handle (11) to any angle for a safe and comfortable work posture. Turn the lower gripping end anticlockwise, swivel the handle to the desired position, and retighten by turning clockwise.
Setting drilling depth: Press the button for depth stop adjustment and insert the depth stop into the auxiliary handle (11). Adjust the depth stop until the distance between the tip of the drill bit and the tip of the depth stop corresponds to the desired drilling depth X.
Operation
Selecting operating mode: Set the torque presetting ring (2) to the "drilling" symbol.
Rotational direction: Use the rotational direction switch (7) to change the direction. Only operate this switch when the power tool is not in use.
Gear selection: Use the gear selector switch (3) to preselect two speed ranges. Only operate when the tool is at a standstill.
Maintenance
Cleaning: Always keep the power tool and ventilation slots clean. After each use, clean the application tool, the GFA 18-H adapter, and the ventilation slots of the power tool. The dust protection cap prevents drilling dust from entering the tool holder; replace it immediately if damaged.
