Product Description

The GSS 18V-13 is a cordless orbital sander designed for dry sanding of wood, plastic, filler, and coated surfaces. It features an orbital stroke rate preselection thumbwheel and constant electronic speed control.

Assembly

Changing/fitting base plate and foam pad: Unscrew the 4 screws completely. Pull the base plate away from the four pivoting feet. Place the replacement pad on the four pivoting feet and push the pivoting feet into the recess. Position the foam pad and secure both parts with the screws.

Changing the sanding sheet: Remove dirt and dust from the sanding plate before attaching a new sheet. Ensure the punched holes in the sanding sheet are aligned with the holes in the sanding plate.

Operation

Switching On/Off: Press the on/off switch to start the tool. Press it again to switch off. Preselecting the orbital stroke rate: Use the thumbwheel to select the required speed (1-2 low, 3-4 medium, 5-6 high).

Dust Extraction

Self-generated extraction: Place the complete dust bag onto the extraction outlet until it lines up precisely. Empty the dust bag regularly for optimal performance.

External extraction: Fit a dust extraction hose onto the extraction outlet and connect it to a suitable vacuum cleaner.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Always remove the battery before any maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean to ensure safe and efficient operation.
