To get started with your Bosch GAS 12V Professional vacuum cleaner, ensure the battery is fully charged. Insert the battery into the battery port until it clicks. Before vacuuming, verify that the filter assembly is securely installed and undamaged. To operate, press the On/Off button. After use, empty the dust cup and clean the filter assembly to maintain optimal suction performance.

Product Description
The vacuum cleaner is designed for dry vacuuming. Key components include the dust cup release button, On/Off button, battery charge indicator, handle, motor housing, dust cup, crevice nozzle, and filter assembly.

Assembly
Battery Charging: Use only recommended Bosch chargers. The battery is supplied partially charged; charge it fully before first use. The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharge by Electronic Cell Protection (ECP).

Battery Insertion/Removal: Slide the battery into the battery port until it locks. To remove, press the unlocking buttons and pull the battery out.
Mounting the Crevice Nozzle: The crevice nozzle can be connected directly to the dust chamber. Insert it firmly into the intake port with the mark facing down.
Operation
To switch on the vacuum cleaner, press the On/Off button. To switch off, press the button again. Always ensure the filter assembly is securely installed before vacuuming.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Cleaning the Dust Cup: Clean the dust cup after each use. Hold the vacuum slightly downward to prevent dust from falling out. Press the release button to remove the dust cup from the motor housing. Empty the dust cup over a waste bin. Clean with a moist cloth if necessary.

Cleaning the Filter Assembly: Do not wet clean the filter assembly. Remove the dust cup, then pull the filter assembly out of the motor housing. Brush the flaps of the pleated filter with a soft broom.
Troubleshooting
If suction performance is insufficient, check the following: 1. Is the dust cup full? 2. Is the pleated filter clogged with dust? 3. Is the battery capacity too low? If performance does not improve, contact customer service.
