Quick Guide to Your Ozito Wet & Dry Vacuum

This manual provides instructions for the Ozito 1250W 12L Wet & Dry Vacuum (VWD-1212). It is designed for DIY use. Always ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before performing any assembly, maintenance, or cleaning.

Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your vacuum:

• Castors: Turn the tank upside down on a level surface and press each castor firmly into the slot until it clicks.
• Motor Unit: Align the sides of the motor unit with the securing clips on the tank. Hook the clips over the lip and press the lower end to lock.
• Handle: Align the handle with the slot on top of the motor unit and push down until it clicks.

Filter Selection

Using the correct filter is critical for the safety and performance of the vacuum:

• Wet Vacuuming: Use the foam filter. Slip it over the filter cage on the bottom of the motor unit. Ensure no air can bypass the filter. Do not use a filter bag or dust bag when vacuuming liquids.
• Dry Vacuuming: Use the filter bag. Slip it over the filter cage until completely covered.

Operation

• Switching On/Off: Use the switch on the motor unit. 'I' is for On, '0' is for Off.
• Extension Tubes: Push the hose adaptor into the vacuum hose, then attach the extension tube.
• Tools: Use the floor tool for large areas and the crevice tool for tight corners.
• Blower Function: Connect the hose to the outlet port on the back of the motor.

Maintenance

Clean the appliance immediately after use. Wipe with a damp cloth and soft soap. Do not use solvents. Clean the foam filter under running water and allow to air dry. Store in a dry location.
