Mounting

For safe handling, the tool must be mounted on a flat, stable work surface (e.g., a workbench) using the mounting holes (12). If using a Bosch GTA saw stand, follow the specific instructions provided with the stand.

Battery Operation

Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Insert the charged battery into the battery holder until it clicks into place. To remove, press the battery release button and pull the battery out.

Changing the Saw Blade

Warning: Remove the battery before any work on the tool. Wear protective gloves when handling the saw blade.

  2. Swivel the retracting blade guard (5) to the back and hold it.
  3. Press the spindle lock (4) and turn the hex socket screw (27) using the hex key (11) until it engages.

  5. Install the new blade, ensuring the cutting direction of the teeth matches the arrow on the protective cover.

Adjusting the Mitre Angle: Loosen the clamping handle (15), turn the angle guide (14) to the desired angle on the scale (31), and retighten the handle.

Clamping the Workpiece: Use the locking spindle (8) and tubular jaw (20) to secure round or square workpieces against the angle guide (14).

Working Advice

Marking the Cutting Line: Turn on the laser beam using switch (26). Align your mark on the workpiece with the right-hand edge of the laser line.
