The saw features a saw blade (1), base plate (2), riving knife (3), and a lock-off function for the on/off switch (5). The battery (7) is inserted into the battery holder until it clicks into place.

Assembly

  • Wear protective gloves when fitting or changing the saw blade.
  • Use the locking lever (10) to open the cover (9) of the saw blade receptacle.
  • Insert the saw blade, ensuring the drive shaft and the end of the saw blade fit into the recess on the saw blade receptacle (13).
  • Close the cover and lock it with the locking lever until it clicks into place.
  • The chain of the saw blade is tensioned automatically.

Operation

Switching on/off:

  • To switch on, press the lock-off button (4) to the left or right, then press and hold the on/off switch (5).
  • To switch off, release the on/off switch (5).

Speed control: The sawing speed is continuously variable depending on how hard you press the on/off switch (5).

  • Switch off the tool immediately if the saw blade becomes blocked.
  • Always use a sturdy support when working on small or thin workpieces.
  • Always cut from front to back or from top to bottom.
  • The riving knife (3) prevents sawing against the running direction of the chain saw.
  • Put the cover (12) on the saw blade (1) after finishing work to protect it.

  • Remove the battery before any work on the tool (maintenance, tool change, etc.) and for transport/storage.
  • Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean.
  • Clean the saw blade and saw blade receptacle only dry. Use a fine brush to remove deeply ingrained dirt.
  • The saw blade is maintenance-free; the chain does not need to be oiled.
