Device Description

The GCM 18V-216 D is a cordless sliding mitre saw designed for straight cross-cuts and mitre cuts in wood, chipboard, and fiberboard. With appropriate saw blades, it can also cut aluminum profiles and plastic.

Assembly

• Workpiece supports: Can be positioned left, right, or in front of the tool.
• Clamping wheel: Required to fix the vertical bevel angle.
• Adjustable fence: Must be mounted before sawing.
• Mounting: The tool must be mounted on a flat, stable surface (e.g., workbench) or a Bosch saw stand.

Operation

Transport safety lock: Used to secure the tool arm for transport. Unlock by pressing the arm down slightly and pulling the lock out.

Sawing: Always tighten the locking knob and clamping wheel before sawing to prevent the blade from wedging. Ensure the retracting blade guard moves freely.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• The retracting blade guard must move freely and close automatically.

Safety Warnings
