Assembly
Before performing any work on the tool (maintenance, tool change, etc.), remove the battery. Use only saw blades with a maximum permitted speed higher than the tool's no-load speed. Ensure the saw blade is installed with the correct rotational direction as indicated by the arrow on the blade and the protective guard.
Operation
Adjust the cutting depth to the workpiece thickness so that less than a full tooth is visible below the workpiece. Use the white scale marking for cuts with a guide rail and the red marking for cuts without a guide rail. The saw features a 'Stop Control' function that automatically stops the tool when the cut is finished, which can be activated via the user interface.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. The retracting blade guard must always move freely and close automatically. Clean the area around the guard regularly with a brush. Clean saw blades immediately after use to remove resin or glue residue.

Always keep hands away from the cutting area and the blade. Never reach underneath the workpiece. Secure the workpiece on a stable platform. Use a rip fence or straight edge guide for accurate cuts. Be aware of kickback risks and maintain a firm grip with both hands.
