Device Description

Assembly
- Battery: Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or changing accessories.
- Auxiliary Handle: The tool must be used with the auxiliary handle (order number 1 602 025 07Y). Ensure it is securely tightened before use.
- Tool Change: The drill spindle is locked when the on/off switch is not pressed, allowing for quick and easy tool changes in the keyless chuck.
Operation
- Starting: Insert the charged battery until it clicks into place. Set the rotational direction switch to the center position to prevent accidental starting.
- Operating Modes: Use the mode selector switch to choose between drilling, screwdriving, and impact drilling (GSB model only).
- Speed Control: Speed is infinitely adjustable by varying the pressure on the on/off switch.
- KickBack Control: This feature automatically shuts off the tool if it suddenly rotates around the drill axis. It can be deactivated via the user interface.
- Electronic Angle Detection (EAD): Allows preselection of a slope angle for precise drilling or screwdriving. Controlled via the user interface.

Common problems
Tool shuts off automatically
Check if the battery is empty or if the tool has overheated. Allow the tool to cool down or replace/charge the battery.
KickBack Control triggered
Release the on/off switch and press it again to restart the tool.
No LED lights up on battery indicator
The battery is likely defective and must be replaced.
