The Bosch PFS 5000 E is a fine spray system designed for various paints and coatings. Ensure the base unit is on a flat surface and the spray gun is assembled with all seals before use. Always perform a test spray on a test surface before applying to the final object.
Device Description
The system consists of a spray gun (1), air hose (20), and base unit (22). Key components include the nozzle caps (10, 11, 12), container (7), and air flow control (25). The system is suitable for emulsion/latex paints, solvent-based/water-dilutable lacquers, varnishes, primers, oils, and water.

Assembly
Connect the air hose (20) to the base unit (22) and spray gun (1) using the bayonet locks (21). Select the appropriate nozzle cap based on the material: white (10) for wall paint, grey (11) for wood/varnish, and black (12) for wood/lacquer.

Operation
Prepare the surface by cleaning and masking. Dilute the spray material according to the dilution table provided in the manual. Fill the container (7) up to the 1000 mark. Perform a test spray on a test surface before starting. Adjust the spray pattern using the air cap (2) and the spray material quantity using the thumbwheel (4).

Maintenance and Cleaning
Clean the system immediately after each use. Use warm water for water-based paints and the appropriate diluting agent for solvent-based paints. Never clean nozzle and air holes with pointed objects. Clean the air filter (30) regularly and replace it if heavily contaminated.

Troubleshooting
If the spray pattern is poor, check the spray capacity, distance, and material viscosity. If the jet pulsates, check the suction tube (17) and container seal (16). If no material is coming out, check if the base unit is on and the container is properly closed.
