Product Description
The GEX 18V-125 is a cordless random orbit sander designed for dry sanding of wood, plastic, filler, and coated surfaces. It features a speed preselection wheel for adjusting the orbital stroke rate based on the material and application.
Assembly



- Battery: Insert the battery until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and pull the battery backward.
- Sanding Sheet: Ensure the sanding pad is clean. Align the holes in the sanding sheet with the holes in the sanding pad and press firmly.
- Dust Extraction: Attach the dust bag to the extraction outlet. For external extraction, connect a suitable vacuum hose to the extraction outlet.
Operation

- Switching On/Off: Press the on/off switch to start the tool. Press it again to switch off.
- Speed Preselection: Use the thumbwheel to select the required orbital stroke rate (1-6).
- Sanding: Place the entire sanding surface on the workpiece and move the tool with moderate pressure.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Always remove the battery before performing maintenance. Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Empty the dust bag regularly to ensure optimal extraction performance.

Safety
Use the tool only for dry sanding. Avoid overheating the workpiece and the sander. Empty the dust container before breaks. Sanding dust can spontaneously ignite under unfavorable conditions, especially if mixed with paint or polyurethane residues.
