Assembly

Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance or changing accessories. Inserting/changing the saw blade: Wear protective gloves. Push the saw blade receptacle upwards, insert the blade (teeth in cutting direction) until it stops, and ensure the back of the blade is in the guide roller groove. Glide shoe: Attach to the base plate to prevent scratching sensitive surfaces. Anti-splinter guard: Press into the base plate from below to prevent surface splintering.

Operation

Pendulum action: Adjustable in four stages to adapt cutting speed and performance to the material. Mitre angle: The base plate can be swivelled up to 45° left or right. Starting: Press the lock-off switch, then the on/off switch. The worklight illuminates the cutting area.

Maintenance

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean. Regularly clean the saw blade receptacle by tapping the tool on a level surface. Lubricate the guide roller occasionally with a drop of oil. If the guide roller is worn, it must be replaced by an authorized Bosch service center.

Safety

Always wear eye protection. Do not operate in explosive atmospheres. Keep children away. Use only original spare parts. If the saw blade blocks, switch off immediately. Use a stable base for small or thin workpieces.
