The Bright Starts Fancy Fantasy Vibrating Bouncer is designed to soothe infants. Important Safety Warnings: Never leave the child unattended. Use the bouncer only on the floor; never on elevated surfaces, beds, sofas, or soft surfaces. Stop using the bouncer when the baby starts trying to sit up or has reached 9 kg (20 lbs), whichever comes first. This product is not for sleep; if the baby falls asleep, move them to a crib or bassinet immediately.
Assembly Instructions
Adult assembly is required. Ensure all parts are present before beginning. The assembly involves connecting the base frame tubes, backrest tubes, and footrest wire, followed by attaching the seat pad and toy bar.
- Connect the base frame tubes and backrest tubes as shown in the assembly diagrams.
- Ensure all locking mechanisms are engaged.
- Attach the seat pad to the frame using the provided buckles and hook-and-loop patches.
- Insert the toy bar into the designated slots on the frame.
Battery Installation
The vibration unit requires 1 size C/LR14 (1.5V) alkaline battery (not included). Use a Phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment. Ensure the polarity matches the markings inside the compartment. Replace the battery if the vibration function becomes weak or erratic.
Using the Bouncer
Always use the seat restraint system and adjust it to fit the baby snugly. To use the vibration function, slide the ON/OFF switch located on the vibration unit to the desired position.
Care and Cleaning
- Seat pad: Remove from the frame. Fasten all buckles and hook-and-loop patches. Machine wash with cold water on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low heat.
- Toy bar and toys: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry. Do not immerse in water.
- Frame: Wipe the metal frame with a soft, clean cloth and mild soap.
Storage and Disassembly
To disassemble for storage, use a small Phillips screwdriver to depress the release buttons on the inside of each connecting hub. Remove the footrest tube and base frame tubes from the hubs. Remove batteries before storing the product for a prolonged period.
