Lens Operation

Attaching and Detaching: Ensure the camera is powered off before mounting or removing the lens. Align the lens mount index with the camera's index and rotate clockwise until it clicks. To detach, press the camera's lens release button and rotate the lens counterclockwise.

Focusing and Control Ring: The lens features a versatile ring that can function as either a focus ring or a control ring. Use the selector switch on the side of the lens to toggle between modes. In focus mode, you can set the camera to AF or MF. In control mode, the ring can be assigned to various camera settings like aperture or shutter speed via the camera menu.

Handling and Maintenance

To prevent condensation when moving the lens between cold and warm environments, place it in an airtight plastic bag and allow it to reach ambient temperature gradually. Keep the lens contacts clean and free of fingerprints to ensure reliable communication with the camera body. If the contacts become soiled, wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth.
