The Cecotec Rock'nCut Shuriken Steel ProBlades is a domestic food slicer designed for slicing soft boneless meat, cheese, bread, and vegetables. Important: Do not use the slicer for more than 5 minutes of continuous operation. If the motor overheats, allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before using it again. Do not slice hard, frozen, or bone-in ingredients.

Before use

Unpack the device and ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Wash all components that come into contact with food (cutting disc, carriage, food pusher, and thumb guard) with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface and unwind the cable.

  1. Connect the power cord to a mains socket.
  2. Place the food on the cutting tray and press the food pusher against the thickness guide.
  3. Turn the adjustable thickness dial to set the desired thickness (0 to 15 mm).
  4. Place a plate or bowl next to the slicer to collect slices.
  5. Switch on the appliance.
  6. Bring the safety switch towards you, then simultaneously press the operating switch to start the blade.
  7. Push the tray towards the blade and move it back and forth firmly while keeping the food pressed against the guide.
  8. When finished, turn the operating switch to the O position, switch off the machine, and unplug it.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning: The blade is very sharp; handle with care. Do not wash any parts in the dishwasher.

  • Disconnect the device from the mains.
  • Ensure the device has stopped completely and set the thickness knob to the minimum.
  • Pull the food pusher backwards.
  • Turn the blade holder clockwise to unlock and remove the blade.
  • Soak the blade in warm, soapy water for several minutes, then rinse and dry.
  • Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
  • Dry all parts thoroughly before storage.

This appliance is for domestic use only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use near hot surfaces or outdoors. Always ensure the mains voltage matches the rating label. Do not use external timers or remote control systems. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by authorized technical support.
