Quick Guide

The Chefman Fast-Boil 1.2L Electric Kettle is designed for rapid water heating. Before first use, ensure you remove all packaging and stickers. Always fill the kettle between the MIN (0.5 L) and MAX (1.2 L) fill lines. The kettle features boil-dry protection, which automatically turns the unit off if it is heated without sufficient water.

Safety Instructions

Important Safeguards:

• Do not touch hot surfaces; always use the handle.
• To prevent fire or electric shock, never immerse the cord, plug, base, or unit in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is required when used near children.
• Unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not use the kettle on a stovetop or any other heat source.
• Do not operate if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed before serving.

Operating Instructions

Before First Use:

1. Remove all packing materials and stickers.
2. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
3. Fill to the MAX line (1.2 L) and bring to a boil.
4. Discard the boiled water and rinse the kettle with fresh water.

How to Use:

1. Place the base on a flat, sturdy surface and plug it into an outlet.
2. Fill the kettle with water (between 0.5 L and 1.2 L).
3. Place the kettle on the base and press the On/Off switch.
4. The blue LED lights will illuminate while heating. The kettle will automatically turn off once the water boils.
5. Use the handle to lift the kettle and pour carefully.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
• Rinse the inside with water. Never immerse the base or electrical connections.
• Clean the spout filter by rinsing under hot water while gently rubbing with a cloth or brush. Do not remove the filter.

Descaling:

To remove mineral deposits, descale at least once a month (or more often if using hard water). Fill the kettle with 1/4 L of water and 1/4 L of white vinegar. Boil the mixture, let it stand for 1 hour, then empty and rinse 5-6 times.

Troubleshooting

If the kettle does not boil, ensure it is properly connected to the base and the outlet. If the kettle does not work, it may have overheated; allow it to cool for 15 minutes. If the water has an unusual taste, boil a mixture of water and two teaspoons of baking soda, then rinse. If the kettle switches off immediately, ensure the water level is above the MIN line.
