Quick Guide

The Chefman Fast-Boil 1.8L Infuser Kettle is designed for boiling water and brewing tea. To make tea: fill the kettle between the MIN (0.5L) and MAX (1.8L) lines, place it on the base, and turn it on. Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically shut off. Carefully insert the tea-filled infuser into the lid, close the lid, and let the tea steep. Always ensure the lid is securely closed before serving.

Product Overview

The kettle features a drip-free spout with a filter, a removable lid, a stay-cool handle, a power switch, a 360-degree swivel power base, and a tea infuser that attaches to the lid. The kettle body is made of borosilicate glass with water-level markings.

Safety Instructions

• Do not immerse the cord, plug, charging base, or the unit itself in water or other liquids.
• Do not touch hot surfaces; use the handle.
• Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged.
• Do not place the unit on or near heat sources like stoves or ovens.
• Ensure the lid is securely closed before serving.
• Do not open the lid during the heating cycle to avoid scalding.

Before First Use

Before using the kettle for the first time, remove all packaging. Place the base on a flat surface and ensure the power cord is routed through the base opening. To remove manufacturing residue, fill the kettle to the MAX line with plain water, boil it, and then discard the water. Rinse the kettle with fresh water.

How to Make Tea

1. Place the base on a flat surface.
2. Remove the lid and the infuser.
3. Fill the kettle with cold, fresh water (between 0.5L and 1.8L).
4. Place the kettle on the base and plug it in.
5. Press the power switch to start heating. The blue LED lights will illuminate.
6. Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically power off.
7. Add loose tea or tea bags to the infuser.
8. Carefully lift the lid, slide the tea-filled infuser onto the underside of the lid, insert it into the kettle, and press the lid to close.
9. Let the tea steep, then remove the kettle from the base to serve.

Heating Water Without Tea

Follow the same steps as making tea, but leave the tea and infuser out of the kettle. Use hot water as desired.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wash the interior with soapy water. Wipe the exterior and base with a damp cloth.
• Warning: Never immerse the kettle or power base in water or wash in a dishwasher.
• The tea infuser is not dishwasher safe; wash it in warm, soapy water.
• Clean the spout filter by rinsing under hot water while gently rubbing with a cloth or brush.

Decalcifying

To remove mineral deposits, fill the kettle with enough white vinegar to cover the bottom by about 13 mm (1/2 inch). Heat the vinegar to a boil. Repeat if necessary until deposits are removed, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Tea Brewing Tips

• Use filtered water for best results.
• Use about 2 teaspoons of loose tea per cup.
• Steep for 3 to 7 minutes depending on the tea type.
• For iced tea, double the amount of tea leaves.
