The Cooper Greengate 0-10V Dual Tech Sensor Dimmer is a 3-in-1 device combining a switchpack, occupancy sensor, and 0-10V dimmer. Important: This device requires a neutral wire for installation. It is designed for indoor use and is compatible with 0-10V dimmable LED and FLR ballasts. The device features dual technology (PIR and Ultrasonic) for motion detection and offers adjustable time delays from 15 seconds to 30 minutes.

Product Overview

This wallbox device is designed to help meet energy codes such as ASHRAE 90.1 and California Title 20. It provides area control, automatic lighting shutoff, and multi-level lighting control. The unit includes an integrated photocell for daylight harvesting, which can automatically adjust lighting based on natural light levels.

Installation and Wiring

The device is designed for installation in a standard 3.5-inch deep back box. A neutral wire is required for proper operation. The wiring configuration supports both single-pole and 3-way applications. Ensure all power is disconnected before beginning installation. Connect the Hot, Neutral, Earth Ground, and 0-10V dimming lines (Purple for positive, Gray for negative) according to the provided wiring diagram. The device uses #16 AWG for Load and GND wires and #18 AWG for all other connections.

Operation and Controls

The device features a push-pad design for manual control. The front interface includes an On/Off toggle and Raise/Lower buttons for dimming. The daylight sensor LED indicator provides status feedback. The occupancy sensor can be configured for Auto ON/Auto OFF or Manual ON/Auto OFF modes. The ambient light override feature prevents lights from switching on when sufficient natural light is present.

Sensor Coverage

The sensor provides a 180-degree field of view. It covers 900 sq. ft. for major motion and 324 sq. ft. for minor motion. The dual technology combines Passive Infrared (PIR) and Ultrasonic detection to ensure reliable operation. The coverage area may vary based on room shape and the presence of obstacles.
