The Danfoss 185SL is a lubricant intended for general use. This document provides essential safety, handling, and storage information. While the product is not classified as hazardous under normal conditions of use, standard industrial hygiene practices should be followed.

First Aid Measures

• General: If you feel unwell, seek medical advice and show this safety data sheet or the product label. If unconscious, place the victim in the recovery position.
• Inhalation: Move the person to fresh air and keep them in a position comfortable for breathing.
• Skin Contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
• Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Drink water as a precaution. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Firefighting Measures

In case of fire, use appropriate extinguishing media suitable for the surrounding environment, such as carbon dioxide, extinguishing powder, or water spray. For large fires, use alcohol-resistant foam. Do not use a strong water stream. Firefighters should wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.

Handling and Storage

• Handling: Ensure good ventilation at the workplace. Avoid breathing vapors or aerosols. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands and exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking, or leaving work.
• Storage: Keep in the original container. Keep the container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from food, drink, and animal feed.

Ensure adequate extraction or general ventilation to reduce vapor concentrations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment:

• Skin and Body Protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
