Installation Procedure

Follow these steps to ensure a proper installation:

  • Schrader Valve: You must remove the Schrader valve before beginning the brazing process.
  • Brazing: Use a brazing alloy with a minimum of 5% silver (Ag).
  • Paint Protection: If any paint is burnt off during the brazing process, clean the area and protect it with anti-corrosion paint or heat shrink.
  • Torque Specifications: Ensure connections are tightened to the specified torque: 0.5 Nm (5 in.-lbs) and 1.5 Nm (13 in.-lbs) as indicated in the diagram.
  • System Marking: After charging, mark the system clearly with the refrigerant and oil type used.

Converting Capillary Tube Outlet

If you need to convert the capillary tube outlet from 2.8 mm to 1/4 inch, use the indicated cutting line on the outlet tube.
